- One thing I’d grab if
my house were on fire: my laptop computer
- One thing I wish I could throw
away: magazines that I haven’t finished
reading
- One thing I’ll never,
ever throw away: my ratty old pink robe
(I’ve had it for years and years and it looks
horrible, but I can’t bear to throw it out
when it still works perfectly fine as a robe. ?)
- Something I lost and still
miss: the sapphire in the ring my mom gave
me for graduation (the prongs wore down and the
stone fell out ?)
- Something I’ve kept
since childhood: my baby quilt
- A food item I never run out
of: coffee, sugar, and half-n-half
- A household brand I’m
very loyal to: All Free & Clear Detergent
- Something I sleep with every
night: the fan blowing directly on my face
- One thing that’s on
my wish list: Volkswagon Convertible Bug
- Something I take with me wherever
I go: my cell phone
- Something that makes me smile
when I see it: a gorgeous sunset
- Something my children fight
over: who gets stuck putting away the clean
socks and underwear
- Something I hate to clean:
toilets and bathtubs
- Something I show off when
people visit: my homemade whipped cream
(for coffee)
- Something I hide when people
visit: my piles of not-quite-organized papers
- Something I’m embarrassed
to admit I like: the TV show, “Charmed”
(I know, pathetic.)
- Something I collect: scrapbook
supplies
- Something I avoid at all costs:
being a room mom
- Something that reminds me
of my mother: a BIG home-cooked meal with
lots of side dishes
- The best gift I’ve ever
received: I received a Ms. PacMan game (with
Joystick controller) that plugs directly into the
television for arcade-like action from my boys this
past Christmas. My oldest son, Jacob, thought this
would be a good gift for me after hearing me talk
about how I had grown up playing Ms. PacMan with
my dad. I opened the game and immediately started
crying when those good memories from my childhood
came flooding back. My boys probably had no idea
that their gift would prove to be so meaningful
to me, but now that old 80’s arcade game ties
me to my dad and to my sons.

PRICE, Design Team |
- One thing I'd grab if my house
were on fire: Besides the obvious being
my children, I would also grab my Nikon D70S! It's
my 4th baby after all!
- One thing I wish I could throw
away: The bed in my guest room. It's totally
falling apart because the kids use it as a trampoline.
- One thing I'll never, ever
throw away: I have a really hard time parting
with photographs...even the ones that are duds or
dups.
- Something I lost and still
miss: I really miss my black Coach purse.....only
I didn't lose it.......it was stolen! I made the
mistake of leaving it in my vehicle while taking
my daughter to swim lessons. I remember the event
quite clearly because I was 8+ months pregnant with
Matthew and it was a cold, rainy night. We had to
wait forever for the police to come take our statement
and then drove home amongst shards of glass from
the bashed in window and rain pouring in on us.
My daughter was so upset. The purse never showed
up, but my wallet did! It was found on a woman clear
on the other side of the metro trying to get cash
back using one of my credit cards so she could go
buy drugs. It was quite the eye-opener into the
ugly world of professional theft rings and drug
users. So let that be my PSA.....don't leave your
purse in the car.....ever!
- Something I've kept since
childhood: Between myself, my mother and
my grandmother, I have a box full of all the awards
(whether it be a trophy, medal, ribbon, certificate
etc.) I ever received. Plus my grandma cut out and
saved every newspaper article (honor rolls, athletic
scores, etc.) that I was a part of. It's pretty
fun to look back on those memories!
- A food item I never run out
of: Cereal! We are a cereal-loving family....it's
not just for breakfast ya know.
- A household brand I'm very
loyal to: Coca-Cola.....hands down.
- Something I sleep with every
night: Lately, I'd have to say my two-year
old son, Matthew, but I'm trying to correct that
'lil issue. I also tend to have a special attachment
to my pillow. I hate thick/fluffy ones, which makes
it hard to find replacements because apparently
the rest of the world likes thick & fluffy!
Oh, and my white noise machine to drown out my husband's
snoring. LOL!
- One thing that's on my wish
list: I have lots of things on my wishlist,
but at the top is either a new 50 mm lens for my
camera or finding an affordable interior designer
that will come into my home and help me with paint
and furnishing ideas to make my home more welcoming/comfortable/organized.
- Something I take with me wherever
I go: I *should* say a sketchbook for jotting
down awesome scrapbook ideas, but sadly, the answer
is more like my cell phone.
- Something that makes me smile
when I see it: My children. Yes, they also
make me sad, angry, frustrated and confused, but
for the most part, they can instantly bring a smile
to my face.
- Something my children fight
over: Some days the answer is everything!
But they often fight over movie time.....from what
movie to watch all the way to who gets to put the
movie into the DVD player and press Play.
- Something I hate to clean:
The shower/tub. I usually bribe my husband
to do it! I will gladly clean the toilets over the
shower/tub.
- Something I show off when
people visit: I don't really show anything
off to be honest, but I will show my close friends
and family my latest scrapbook pages if they ask
to see them.
- Something I hide when people
visit: I have been known to 'scoop' the
clutter from the countertops into a laundry basket
and shove it in the basement. Haven't we all done
this though?
- Something I'm embarrassed
to admit I like: I'm not embarrassed to
admit this, but I know some find it odd that I like
such a wide variety of music. I will listen to everything
from country to heavy metal and classical to rap.
- Something I collect: Besides
scrapbook supplies, I guess I own a fair amount
of Fiestaware.
- Something I avoid at all costs:
Swimming pools. I am deathly afraid of the
water unfortunately. I joke with my husband that
it would probably require hypnosis for me to learn
how to swim.
- Something that reminds me
of my mother: Americana and Folk Art Cross
Stitch Samplers and the Dove Real Beauty ad campaign
because my mom is such a beautiful person, inside
and out (but she doesn't think so). Love you mom!
- The best gift I've ever received:
Cue the orchestra here......but the best
gifts I've ever been given are my three children.......Emily,
Madelyn and Matthew......they are my life.

too big for them. Hopefully DS #2 will like them!
:)

escalators!

- One thing I’d grab if my house were on fire: As long as the kids and hubby are secure, I'd probably grab my purse. I'm cheating here, of course, because my purse has a lot of stuff, including a camera (coz, you know, I'll have to take pics of that fire to scrapbook later).
- One thing I wish I could throw away: My kids' art work. I cherish them but they bring new ones home EVERY DAY!
- One thing I’ll never, ever throw away: I'm very sentimental. I don't think I can narrow it down to just one.
- Something I lost and still miss: I'm sure I've lost things that were valuable to me but since I can't think of even just one right now. They must not have been as precious to me as I thought they were. Maybe I'm not so sentimental after all.
- Something I’ve kept since childhood: My father's vest. He died when I was 11. I still wear it every now and then.
- A food item I never run out of: Dark chocolate. And coffee. (Is coffee "food"?)
- A household brand I’m very loyal to: Newman's (organic cookies).

- Something I take with me wherever I go: My camera. It's on a holster.

- Something I collect: Old cameras.
- Something I avoid at all costs: Walmart on the weekends.

- One thing I’d grab if my house were on fire: My "trunk" full of pictures that we also use for a coffee table. My great~great uncle brought it over from England with his possesions in it, so it is special in a double sense.
- One thing I wish I could throw away: "Broken things". Will they really ever get fixed?
- One thing I’ll never, ever throw away: My concert tickets. I have saved them from all of the concerts I have been to starting at 16.

- Something I’ve kept since childhood: The stuffed bunny my grandmother gave me when I was about 4 years old for Easter. Hideous, falling apart and total 60's colors, but I love him.
- A food item I never run out of: Spicy mustard
- A household brand I’m very loyal to: Charmin ;}
- Something I sleep with every night: My hair pulled into a ponytail
